What to Expect

To Be Joyously Welcomed

Beit Immanuel is a welcoming synagogue made up of both Jewish and non-Jewish believers in Yeshua HaMoshiach. We welcome anyone who is interested in Yeshua, Messianic Judaism, or exploring the Jewish origins of their faith.

To Worship

Our Shabbat morning worship service is a blend of traditional Jewish prayers and traditional and modern Messianic music, intended to exalt Yeshua as we celebrate G-d's presence in the process.

A Jewish Experience

Dress codes at synagogues vary; our community requests casual to business casual dress. Shabbat services are a face-to-face meeting with G-d, and we try to dress accordingly.

Men will be asked to wear a Kippah upon entering the synagogue as a sign of respect to G-d and the sacredness of the worship space.

Jewish men and women may wear a tallit. Because the fringes at the four corners of the tallit remind its wearer to observe the commandments of Judaism, wearing a tallit is a symbol of religious identification reserved for Jews. Tallitot are available in the sanctuary, but you may decline to wear it if you are not Jewish, or are uncomfortable wearing such a garment.

A Family

Beit Immanuel is a family that loves G-d, and loves our neighbor as ourselves: the Jewish community, and the non-Jewish worlds within which we live. We seek to grow and learn together, bringing G-d's people into a place of maturity and community in synagogue life.
